Refund and Cancellation Policy
Admission fees are non-refundable once an application has been submitted, apart from the specific situations set out below.
1. The short version
The admission fee of ₹15,340 is non-refundable once your application has been submitted. This is the same undertaking you give in the declaration on the application form.
There are three exceptions, set out in section 3, where we do refund: a duplicate payment, a payment that was debited but never recorded, and a programme cancelled by CCVESD.
2. Why the fee is non-refundable
The fee covers the processing and scrutiny of your application, which begins as soon as it reaches us. That work is done whether or not an application is ultimately approved, so an application that is declined after scrutiny does not attract a refund.
3. When we do refund
We refund in full in the following cases:
- Duplicate payment. You were charged more than once for the same application. We refund every payment beyond the first.
- Payment debited but not recorded. Money left your account but no application was recorded against it, or the payment failed at the gateway and was still debited.
- Cancellation by CCVESD. We cancel or withdraw the programme or batch you applied for and cannot offer you a place on an equivalent one.
We may also refund, at our discretion, where a payment was plainly made in error and no scrutiny has yet begun.
4. When we do not refund
- You change your mind, or decide not to take up a place.
- Your application is declined after scrutiny, including where it is declined because information in it was incorrect or incomplete.
- Your admission is cancelled because a statement in your application was found to be false, or because information was concealed or misrepresented.
- You do not attend, do not sit the examination, or do not complete the programme.
- You are dissatisfied with a study centre's teaching. Please raise this with us so we can take it up with the centre, but it is not a ground for refund of the admission fee.
5. Cancelling your application
You may withdraw an application at any time by writing to info@ccvesd.in with your application number. We will close the application. As set out above, withdrawing does not entitle you to a refund of the admission fee.
6. How to request a refund
Email info@ccvesd.in with:
- your application number;
- the payment reference shown on your confirmation screen or email;
- the date and amount of the payment;
- a short description of which situation in section 3 applies.
Please make the request within 30 days of the payment, so that the transaction can still be traced with the gateway and the bank.
7. How long a refund takes
- We acknowledge a refund request within 3 working days.
- Where a refund is due, we initiate it within 7 working days of accepting the request.
- Refunds are made to the original payment method only. We cannot redirect a refund to a different card, account or UPI ID.
- Once initiated, your bank or card issuer typically takes a further 5 to 10 working days to credit the money. That part is outside our control.
If a refund has not reached you within 15 working days of our confirming it, write to us with your application number and we will follow it up with the payment gateway.
8. Failed and pending payments
If an amount is debited but you did not reach a confirmation screen, do not pay again. Most such payments are reversed automatically by the bank within a few working days. Write to us with your application number and the amount, and we will check whether the payment reached us.
